The Challenge
Montarev builds websites and marketing for businesses across the Gallatin Valley and beyond, but their own brand wasn’t keeping pace with the work. They had a name, a color direction, and a DIY wordmark that didn’t reflect the quality they deliver to clients. For a studio selling trust, that gap mattered. In rooms like SEMA, where showing up right is half the battle, an identity that undersold the team was costing them credibility before a conversation even started. Wyatt saw what Signal House had built for other brands and recognized the gap in their own.
The Approach
We kept the two things that already belonged to Montarev: the name and the colors. Everything else was built from the ground up. The throughline came from the Gulf livery GT40, an icon of motorsport heritage that’s never stopped looking current. That became the brief: fresh, timeless, and rooted in something real. Over six weeks we developed the strategy, a full logo system, a refined palette, and a type system, then carried it into apparel, vehicle graphics, and photography so the brand would hold up everywhere Montarev shows up, from a trade show floor to the side of a truck.
The Result
Montarev now has an identity that matches the caliber of work they deliver to their own clients. The new system gives them a consistent visual throughline across every touchpoint, from apparel and vehicle graphics to collateral and photography, so the brand reads the same whether it’s on a trade show floor, a client pitch, or the side of a truck. The heritage nod gives it weight, the fresh execution keeps it current, and for the first time the brand works as hard as the team behind it.
